About
LONDON’S PIONEERS OF SONIC SPACE ROCK RETURN TO NEW ZEALAND
Handsome Tours presents the return of London-based sonic outfit Public Service Broadcasting who return to New Zealand in May, bringing their powerful, cinematic live show to audiences across the southern hemisphere.
Since emerging into existence in 2009, Public Service Broadcasting – led by instrumentalist-auteur J. Willgoose, Esq. – have forged a singular musical identity, transforming archival narratives into rousing, emotionally resonant works that blend post-rock, electronics and orchestral grandeur.
“We've been asking about coming back to Australia and New Zealand for what feels like an age, and we're really pleased to be able to announce these shows at last. We hope as many people can come and join us as possible and look forward to seeing you all soon.” - Public Service Broadcasting
Across a celebrated catalogue including Inform-Educate-Entertain, The Race For Space, Every Valley, Bright Magic and the spectacular BBC Proms-recorded This New Noise, the band have explored human endeavour, collective memory and the restless drive to push beyond known limits.
