  • We left at interval, what a ripoff

Not what it was advertised to be, singers flat, not enough dancers and variety and a complete con for $84 a head- don't bother. I'm so angry I wasted that much money on a very average performance. We left at interval and decided not to waste the evening further. Nothing great about this show.

  • Anti climax

Took my 7yr old grandson who was already rolling his eyes before half time. The show over promised. Highlights were the acrobat, the dedication of the dancers and violinist. Expected more familiar Christmas carols & songs for kids .. not syrupy Bring Crosby-esque fare. Overall, meagre value for money.

  • hardly the greatest...

by RieN on 08/12/2025Wolfbrook Arena - ChristchurchRating: 2 out of 5

To call a show "the greatest"you expect something outstanding. This show has 6 dancers, 2 vocalists, a musician and Santa. They tried their best, but on a stage that size, they really struggled. The vocalists were often trying to sing outside their range, which was frustrating. The dancers were good, but there could have been double the number and at least some of them could—and should—have been male. The costumes were good. The choice of music was predictable. The highlight was the violin piece. The keyboard player/violinist was an excellent violinist, and her ONE violin piece was the best thing in the whole show. And the least said about Santa, the better. It was NOT "the greatest"and to charge $84 a ticket for such a show was a bit of an insult. I was very disappointed that I took my family to see something that was not, by any stretch of the imagination, what it was advertised to be.

  • Good show

Disappointing that so few attended the Christchurch show as this reduced the audience responce to the performance and made it difficult for the performers to warm up the audience. Sound could have been better and that may have caused the lead male singer to be flat at times. However, overall it was a good performance at a good price point.
