Wellington Opera Tickets

Wellington Opera's performance of "The Masked Ball"by Verdi exceeded my expectations. The minimalist set was innovative and used with great effect. The cast all sang and acted well, the costumes were great and the chorus as always complimented the soloists perfectly. A performance that stood out for me was that of the young soprano who played Oscar. Her singing acting and complete involvement in the roles she was playing signals a great future in Opera.

Superb production, excellent principals , chorus and orchestra. Kept us engaged and involved in the story, and marvelling at the high quality professional vocal and acting throughout. Thank you Wellington Opera!
