Thoroughly loved our hour with Ian Rankin being interviewed by Jim Mora. It was as cosy as sitting in our lounge relaxing with longtime friends.
I attended two events - one on the Saturday and one on Sunday. Both once again were interesting, engaging and well organised - with excellent writers and equally proficient convenors/hosts for the sessions. Despite the crowds, all aspects of the event worked smoothly - with easy access to the venue, helpful attendants and delicious onsite eating options.
Understandably full sessions. The festival is well planned and organized with writers of international acclaim invited and hosted. The Civic Centre is an accessible, functional and attractive venue, with satisfactory catering and crowd control. All staff were competent, cheerful and welcoming. A unique and superlative event. Thank you.
This is without doubt the best week of entertainment, brain fodder, new perceptions... each year we nod and say..Yes this has been so great, couldn't be better, each year you prove us wrong..it is better. Thanks to all concerned.
Well organised. Friendly and helpful staff. Venue was great. David Baldacci was awesome and Jesse Mulligan was a talented interviewer
