To celebrate his landmark album For The Working Class Man, JIMMY BARNES is hitting the road for the Working Class Man 40th Anniversary Tour, proudly presented by Live Nation, Face to Face Touring, MG Live and The Sound.
Performing at Christchurch’s Wolfbrook Arena on Friday, April 17 followed by Auckland’s Spark Arena on Sunday, April 19 Barnesy, as he’s affectionately known, will be playing the iconic album from start to finish, taking the crowd from I’d Die To Be With You Tonight to Paradise, plus classic cuts from his chart-topping catalogue.

They have a wonderful way of drawing the crowd into their performances, with storytelling and amazing musicianship, the only thing missing was my lounge chair. The Michael Fowler Centre has brilliant acoustics, which provides everyone with the same level of exceptional sound quality and the amphitheatre is exemplary for viewing the show. I love the way Jimmy & Jane engage with the audience and include family in their performances. They're all so talented and I look forward to Teddy performing on stage in years to come. Absolutely outstanding concert, up there with the best. Cheers to the Barnes family & friends. Can't wait for Cold Chisel's 50th Celebration Concert at Taupo 2025. It will be EPIC!!

At venue app said I had to log into Ticketmaster with email address and password, which of course I didnt have. However the box office was able to give me a paper ticket. Very helpful. Why did I have to do that, making it not the easy process it should be?

But to add salt to our wounds, we couldn't put our tickets up for resale (not permitted for this event?) so significantly out of pocket. We are pretty disappointed, but hope we get another opportunity to see Jimmy Barnes.
